Annette began her professional career as a Speech Pathologist. She gained experience in the public and private sector, both at a clinical and management level. Annette has also worked as a full time academic member of staff at the University of Sydney.
Annette loves her work as an Audiologist, and has over 20 years experience in the profession. She is passionate about helping people improve their hearing, and seeing their lives and relationships improve.
In the past, Annette has worked as a professional dancer in Europe, and has taught all forms of dance. She is now a Barre Attack instructor, and likes to keep herself, and others, fit.
Annette now lives in the Northern Beaches of Cairns with her husband and their beautiful Bichon Frise dog, Ziggy. Annette and Ziggy are part of the Delta Therapy Dog program. They visit hospitals and nursing homes on a volunteer basis bringing the joy of a pat and a furry cuddle to those who need it most. She has a daughter who is a Pharmacist, and lives in regional NSW.
