Christy Kurian

Christy is a passionate and caring audiologist with a strong international background in hearing care. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from India, where she gained hands-on experience working for 10 months in a private speech and hearing clinic. During this time, she provided services such as speech and language assessment and intervention, hearing assessment and hearing rehabilitation services to both adults and children.

Motivated to deepen her knowledge and broaden her clinical expertise, Christy pursued a Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Manchester, UK. After her Master’s degree, she worked within the National Health Service (NHS), delivering hearing assessment and rehabilitation services to adults.

Christy’s interest in audiology began early, inspired by a family friend in the profession. That inspiration also planted the dream of one day working in sunny Australia—just like her mentor. Determined to follow in those footsteps, she embraced the opportunity to join the AUDiOHEALTH team with great enthusiasm. She is now a registered audiologist accredited by the Australian College of Audiology. She is a proud member of AUDiOHEALTH and now works as a clinical audiologist in Atherton and Mareeba, delivering comprehensive hearing care services.

Christy looks forward to helping her clients reconnect with the world around them through expert, compassionate hearing care.
