Kelly completed her university degree in Audiology in the UK, which included a year of practical training at an NHS hospital where she gained experience in areas such as balance testing and paediatric care. Graduating with first-class honors, she began her career at a family-owned practice, where she was the sole Audiologist. Kelly took on the responsibility of establishing and managing the audiology services, overseeing both private and NHS practice. Her dedication led her to complete specialised training in ear care & microsuction techniques as well as completing tinnitus advisor training.
After six years, Kelly and her husband made the decision to move to Australia, a country she has always loved with strong family ties. She now works as a Clinical Audiologist with AUDiOHEALTH in Cairns, Atherton, and Innisfail. Kelly is registered as an accredited Audiologist with Audiology Australia and holds a medicare practitioner number. She has also completed specialised training in Queensland’s Guidelines for Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, which enables her to assess WorkCover claims related to industrial deafness.
